I am a 39 year man currently in a committed 10 year relationship. I have no heritable illnesses, good health, no disabilities, no STI/STD and never had any, no cancer or auto immune illnesses, and am willing to submit for any testing requested.

I realize that without a partner who can conceive, I don't have many options of becoming a father. Mothers hold a special place in our lives because they can create life. I've wanted to be a father for 10 years now, so I decided to put myself out there and try. Fatherhood is a dream of mine. I know I would make a great father and platonic partner or donor. I simply ask to be allowed to be the best father and co-parent I can be.

I want to say that I am open to being a donor only with no or limited contact. I believe having children should be more accessible and that everyone should be able to have that experience.

However, my dream would be to be a father and be in my child's life. That means I want to have regular contact.

For personal reasons, even though the idea of a fully natural conception and pregnancy appeals to me because of the beauty of creating life, I am most comfortable with doing AI. For co-parenting, this does mean we would need to do extra paperwork after the child's birth so that I am the legal father. If you're interested in using me as a donor only, AI donors do not get parental rights automatically, so this doesn't apply. AI would be mandatory in that instance.

Either way, I have very good counts, am a healthy donor, and will continue with the process until pregnancy is achieved.

I will require donor contracts signed pre and post birth to ensure that all of our rights are protected.
